hey guys. goodness this black hole i found was pretty easy but then i had to try it like a cabillion times to see if it really works. ANDDD it does =) pretty cool.

Start with any number, say 9288759
Count the number of even digits,
the number of odd digits,
the total number of digits.
You get 347
Repeat and you get 123
Repeat and you get 123
Repeat and you get 123
Once you reach 123, you never get out.

I randomly typed a bunch of numbers and i came across into solving whether "0" is an odd or even number. I wasn't too sure so i asked people on my msn, and everyone had different answers, so i was still confused. So i decided to try both. Being "0" = odd, and "0"=even .
and guess what? it both works so i'm guessing that 0 is both odd and even. I don't know, just something i wanted to share (=

here it was; 86237854186786583253

if 0 = odd
11920
145
123

if 0= even
11920
235
123

..and that was one of the math tricks i found. But, i found another one which i actually find helpful.

To quickly multiply by 5, divide the number in two and then multiply it by 10. Often this can be done quickly in your head.

eg. 5 mupltiplied by 62

you divide 62 by 2

you will get 31

then you multiply 31 by 10

= 310

check: 62 mupliplied by 5 is equal to 310

have fun!

Both of these 'tricks' are very cool. I love the helpful hint of multiplying by 5. It's easy, but most people don't think that way. As for 0, I would say it's even because 1 is odd.
Odd and even alternate - so that's my logic.
