Just Remember the usual steps:

1. If you can, ALWAYS factor first your Numerator and the Denominator before doing anything else.
   

2. Simplify and/or multiply any remaining factors in the numerator and/or in the denominator.
3. State the Restrictions

Remember these steps ( It's just like the Multiplying steps with a very slight difference, and your life HEAVILY depends on that difference so please don't forget it!!!)
