Hello there Gummy Bears!!!
(Are you tired of that greeting I've been telling you since I first blogged? Well, I'm sorry, I'm not... he..he...)

Now, if you are still having trouble with the terms Ms. Armstrong told and taught us over the past few days, here they are and their meanings.

1.) Congruent:
  • This means that the sides or subdivision's lenght or extent are exactly equal.
  • It also means that the angles' stretch have the exactly same measure.

2.) Diagonals:

  • This word suggests the lines connecting the opposite angles.

3.) Consecutive:

  • This means that there are two lines next to each other that are going on and on on the same direction.

4.) Bisect:

  • This means that you are to cut something into equally sized pieces

5.) Supplementary:

  • This states that two angles add up to 180 degrees.

6.) Perpendicular:

  • This means that the bisecting lines create a 90 degree angle.

7.) Parallel:

  • This means that the lines do not intersect with each other and go on and on on the same direction.

If you still find it hard to understand my explanation, please see the site I searched. Please also take a look at http://www.aplusmath.com/games/geoterms.html for other terms and meanings and http://regentsprep.org/Regents/math/games/quiapage.htm for games and to have fun with quadrilaterals and all the other topics we have encountered over the past units such as Rational and Irrational Numbers, Properties of Quadrilaterals and Angles.

I hope you'll have a great time on these sites and also for you to refresh your memory over our past subject matters. Have Fun, Ms. Armstrong's precious Gummy Bears!!!:-)
