Now, if you are still having trouble with the terms Ms. Armstrong told and taught us over the past few days, here they are and their meanings.
1.) Congruent:
- This means that the sides or subdivision's lenght or extent are exactly equal.
- It also means that the angles' stretch have the exactly same measure.
2.) Diagonals:
- This word suggests the lines connecting the opposite angles.
3.) Consecutive:
- This means that there are two lines next to each other that are going on and on on the same direction.
4.) Bisect:
- This means that you are to cut something into equally sized pieces
5.) Supplementary:
- This states that two angles add up to 180 degrees.
6.) Perpendicular:
- This means that the bisecting lines create a 90 degree angle.
7.) Parallel:
- This means that the lines do not intersect with each other and go on and on on the same direction.
